This is pretty much a standard kiku design. Stitching alternates between two sets of marking lines. Use orange on one set and dark yellow on the other one finishing with light yellow on both. The design is outlined with gold last and gold lines are added between petals last. The obi is wrapped.
This is my sunshine temari! I needed it in this grey January. I used wooly nylon for the wrap because I could not find the right color blue in other easier to wrap threads. Although the wooly nylon is a pain to wrap in does have a nice shine and the threads glide through it as you stitch.
I think we gave this one to Ellen's teacher but I am not sure.
