Directions

Stitch small spindles on the top and bottom half of the line first, then stitch the interlocked middle spindle. The starting points are 1/3 of the distance from obi to pole. Do one division line at a time working all the way wround the ball. Alternate the colors working small spindles in white and large middle spindle in blue then reversing for the next line. Wrap the obi last if desired.

Notes

I Used striped method for tiger (#050404) all the way around the mari, wrapped an obi to emphasize the floral look at the poles. I did this one first to practice the method for the tiger.
