Directions

  1. Mark an S6 with obi in gold or the color you will use on all of the sections.
  2. Work half a starburst in gold in each section. (see red lines in diagram)
  3. Work the other half starburst in each section using the other colors (one per section).
  4. Wrap narrow bands of cream on each side of the vertical division lines (NOT the obi) to cover the ends of the starburst stitches.
  5. Wrap one row of gold on the outside of each band in step 3.

Notes

Very straightforward pattern. Colors were inspired by the fabric for Ellen's smocked bug dress.
