Directions

This is a standard kiku design like found in most beginner sources. Take initial stitches close to the pole with bottom points at the halfway to obi point. For each round do one set of lines and then the others so there are points on all division lines. Work with colors from lightest to darkest. Obi is wrapped last from lightest color in middle to darkest color on outer edge.:Notes: Design for Japanese certification level 1 but not used because of the mohair thread. I redid it later with perle cotton.
