Written up as a variation for a pattern investigation: Wrapped Bands on a C8. Wrap bands on either side of each division line working from the middle out.

Notes

Black stitches are necessary to hold the last wraps in place since the bands are wide. A different color was used on each side of each marking line. I don't really like this one. It was an interesting thing to try since it gave such a different effect than the original (#051004) with only a change of wrapping inside out rather than outside in, but ultimately I think the colors are much too busy and distracting. It might be nice to revisit it later with fewer colors. I'll probably wrap over it at some point if no one claims it from the collection.
