This is a variation in the pattern investigation Wrapped Bands on a C8.

Notes

This is the two color butterfly variation. I think the extra color is distracting and I don't like it as much as the single color version, but James likes it better than the single color. The pattern followed is the same as #050902. I like the gold for the lines separating the butterflies.
