Directions

  1. Mark C6 with inconspicuous thread.
  2. Outline one set of tetrahedral triangles (four centers) in blue (one strand). See first diagram.
  3. Add two blue triangles inside each face spaced about .3 cm apart. (See upper triangle on second diagram.)
  4. Add support lines with inconspicuous thread. (Second diagram)
  5. Stitch large interwoven triwings at the center of each triangle using the support lines for placement. Top triangle, second diagram.
  6. Original design had small kiku in center of each triwing but there is not room on this size ball so I did a large french knot instead.

Notes

Color challenge Katrina GITS. I really like the spinning movement of this design. It is one of the few true C6 designs in a published source.
