Directions

  1. Mark halfway point on 5 evenly spaced lines and work a 5 point star (hoshi kagari) with one color. (red star on diagram)
  2. Shift the pins to the next set of lines to the right and work another with the next color. (blue star on diagram)
  3. Repeat step 2 until all 4 design colors are used.
  4. Go back to the first set of lines and repeat all for as many rows as desired. This one has 9 rows.
  5. Finish with a row of metallic on each star keeping the same stitching order/
  6. Embellish obi as desired.

Notes

Nice simple design. I think I'll offer it as a mystery ball on Temarikai.com. I love the way the Patina colors work together on this one.
