Directions

Work hexagons in alternating row kagari on 4 large triangles(tetrahedron layout). Use blue thread to embellish the negative space on the other 6-way intersections. Do two rows close together in a tri-wing format but crossing over the 4-way intersection to the next intersection, then do a third row spaced far enough out to border the edges of the hexagons.

Notes

Worked as a sample for the Investigating Open and Solid shape Stitching Techniques pattern investigation. A really nice example of tetrahedral geometry. It wouldn't work as well on a C8 since the extra lines would show through the spaces left by the stitches. (You could always do inconspicuous marking lines.)
