Directions

  1. Wrap mari and mark a C10 with Artic Rays.
  2. Add support lines for a complete 32 marking.
  3. Use two strands of red perle cotton in the needle and work one row on the outside of each pentagon and hexagon (blue on diagram). Keep track of the order so that you can repeat it for round 2.
  4. Repeat step 3 for a second round.
  5. Use Artic Rays to work one round around each small hexagon intersection created by the previous rows. (red on diagram)

Notes

This one is intended to be a holiday design. I thought the bright red with the whity sparkle wispies would have a nice holiday feel. I will upload a picture of it to the TC Holiday Gallery. It is the same design as the previous one only worked on a 32 instead of a 92. I like it better on the greater division...somehow the enlargement doesn't highlight the floral shapes as well in my eyes. It doesn't help that the red perle is not an exact match to the wrap thread. And speaking of exact matches...I ran out of red perle and had to go buy more, only to find that it was quite different in shade than the original. Stung again by DMC's non matched dye lots. Fortunately with the white being so fluffy it is not really a big deal on this one.
