Directions
- Wrap mari and mark a C10 with gold.
- Stitch one row of green on each of the 12 stars. Be sure the thread passes just outside the center of the 6 part triangles as you move from point to point.
- Repeat step 2 using the same sequence. Use a different color of the pastels for each star.
- Continue to alternate green and colors on the stars to create stripes. I did one row green, one color, one green, two color, one green, one color, one green.
Notes
I really like the way the pastels worked out with the green. Overall there is an irridescent look to the ball and the stripes make for interesting play in the diamonds and triangles. This is my favorite of the ones I have done with this design (#060510 and #060508). Unfortunately I had an error on the diagram for those pages so I have to go back and redo those pages.
