Directions

  1. Wrap mari and mark 20 triangles marking with gold metallic.
  2. Add support lines to split each triangle side by 2.
  3. Start with the lightest color pink and work zig zag rows.
  4. Repeat for a total of 5 rows (2 light pink, 2 medium pink, 1 dark pink)
  5. Stitch one small tacking stitch over the crossover points at the midpoint of the triangle sides. Use two strands of green in the needle. (Sorry, forgot to put these on the diagram)
  6. Stitch a small starburt over each 6-way intersection, and a small 5 point star over each 5-way intersection using yellow.

Notes

Ooops. I forgot to put the green tie stitches on the diagram. I'll go back and do it later. This design uses a modification of the C10 division where you only place lines for the sides of the 6-part triangles. Basically you place the pins for the C10 centers and then connect them in triangles. The minimum number of lines makes it easier to further divide the trinagles and also to see where the design lines go.
