Gumnuts Poppies (wool thread) in orange color
A light and dark shade of aqua colored thread, cotton about #5 perle size

Directions

  1. Wrap mari and mark a C10. Add lines for a 32 center.
  2. Begin with light color. Stitch a star like you would do for a regular HHG path.
  3. Continue to stitch in HHG style but use a randomized path rather than the usual spiral type path.
  4. Complete the path with the dark color.
  5. Repeat until you have no more room.
  6. Add orange flowers on each center over the HHG design.

Notes

This is an experiment in creating HHG type paths. While this particular ball is not fabulous, there is some potential for play here. I'll have to revisit this type of stitching path later.
