S12

Directions

  1. Wrap mari and mark S12 with metallic.
  2. Use doubled thread throughout.
  3. Place pins halfway between the N pole and the equator. Repeat for S pole. Use these to stitch one row on 12 spindles with med blue.
  4. Layer one row of very light blue kiku on top of the spindles. Bottom points are at pins, upper points are at centers.
  5. Alternate on spindles and kikus (braided) until the points of the spindles meet the bottom of the braided kiku area.
  6. Use single strand of Artic rays to do one more row on kikus.
  7. Use navy to weave through the threads at the center of the temari, over 2 and under 2.

Notes

I think the braided area on this one is a little dense but it works. I ran out of the navy perle cotton so I did a different obi treatment than the original ball had. This was a thread eater.
