Directions
- Wrap mari and mark S12 with metallic.
- Use doubled thread throughout.
- Place pins halfway between the N pole and the equator. Repeat for S pole. Use these to stitch one row on 12 spindles with med blue.
- Layer one row of very light blue kiku on top of the spindles. Bottom points are at pins, upper points are at centers.
- Alternate on spindles and kikus (braided) until the points of the spindles meet the bottom of the braided kiku area.
- Use single strand of Artic rays to do one more row on kikus.
- Use navy to weave through the threads at the center of the temari, over 2 and under 2.
Notes
I think the braided area on this one is a little dense but it works. I ran out of the navy perle cotton so I did a different obi treatment than the original ball had. This was a thread eater.
